Day Ninety-five

Whew! Sorry for the small hiatus, sometimes life has a way of creeping up on you, especially at this point in the semester.

Tuesday was my last day of normal classes. I took fourth and final test for my Philosophy class, so it was nice to get that out of the way. I also ate too much ice cream, which is both good and bad, but mostly good, I think!

The ice cream is my favorite kind, Party Cake ice cream.

Wednesday I tried out a new sushi joint! Even though it isn't the greatest thing for business for it to be slow, I like it when you go in to a place and it's just you and maybe one other person. That's how it was when I went to pick up some sushi to go. I sat at the bar and talked with the other customer and the sushi chef - they're going to be getting red bean paste ice cream in soon! The sushi was also delicious, and is closer than our favorite sushi joint in town, so we'll probably go there from now on.

Yesterday was a laid back kinda day. I procrastinated really badly on homework, I'll admit, by indulging in various sorts of guilty pleasures. No worries though. The weather has cooled down immensely from what it was, say, five or so days ago (from 95 to 60s-70s), so riding my bike hasn't been such a pain. I did a lot of bike riding the previous day so I took it easy before work. My little container garden is doing well - the pansies have exploded with growth and so have the tomato plants.

I love the little counter I put in to the right... I once let it go up to 50,000 steps - I don't know why it's fun, but it is.
